Twin Tub 26.4 lbs Capacity, Washer(17.6lbs)&Spiner(8.8lbs), Built-in Drain Pump/Semi-Automatic. The spin dryer starts when the lid is down. The only way to fix it was to break the lid a bit. This does not alter how the machine works.

I took this an opportunity to upgrade to a larger machine. Just carried new machine solo up 4 flights of stairs so be prepared to carry this item down the stairs as well! I have used these types of machines for almost 10 years and absolutely love them! I place the machine in the bathtub to do laundry and use a shower wand or hoses connected to the sink.
